PLEASE RECOMMEND AN EMERGING CHICAGO DESIGNER

2012 MICHAEL MAGGIO EMERGING DESIGNER AWARD

We are asking for the assistance of theatre professionals from the Chicago area in identifying a recipient for this year’s Maggio Emerging Designer Award.  This annual award recognizes and supports the work of an outstanding emerging theatrical designer within the Chicago area. A $1,500 honorarium is given annually to an emerging scenic, costume, lighting, sound, or other media designer in acknowledgment of excellence in artistry and collaboration.

We are looking for individuals you value for their artistic contribution, and especially, as collaborators in the production process.

Please feel free to recommend more than one individual.

We want to thank everyone who participated last year.  We keep a running tally from year to year but please send us your recommendations this year as well.
