In this play that weaves not only through time and space, but also genres, Sakinah, the accused, and Jenny, a psychologist for the defense, explore events that lead to a horrific crime. As the story unfolds through flashbacks, and we learn about the who, where and how, we’re left asking why and questioning what roles race, class and privilege play in today’s culture.
