Citrus is a choreopoem– a radical collage of intergenerational Black sisterhood and womanhood in the form of dance, song & music, and poetry. In gathering nine ladies around the birth, intersectional lives, and death of Black women, Celeste Jennings offers an urgent, honest, complex homage to Black women throughout time.
