The discovery of a centuries old Japanese “Pillow Book” is a game changer in the world of East Asian antiquities, but is it “real”? Throughout 36 Views (named after the iconic Hokusai woodcuts of the same title), we witness the character’s journey with this object and how it changes them and their relationships with those around them. The Art becomes a weapon to make or break careers, and launches the character’s on a journey of the discovery of their “truth”.
