Eric is a Chicago based scenic and production designer.  After attending the Scenic Design MFA program at Purdue University he relocated to Chicago in 2010. Since then he has assisted on multiple regional, Broadway, and international productions for scenic designers Todd Rosenthal and Kevin Depinet. In addition to his assistant work he also serves as an instructor for the organization After School Matters, where he works directly with high school students teaching them design and production techniques for theatre. In 2018 Eric received the Joseph Jefferson award for Best Scenic Design for Interrobang Theatre’s production of Foxfinder. He can be contacted directly via email: ericluchen@gmail.com
